BCRA published updated rules on minimum capital requirements for financial entities, along with the updates related to certain aspects of the information transparency regime.
Under the minimum capital requirements rules, the key updates relate to credit risk coverage, minimum capital for credit risk and market risk, involvement of assets in guarantee, global net position of foreign currency, and authorities of financial institutions. With regard to the information regime, the updates cover the following topics:
- Monthly Accounting Information System on minimum capital requirement and integration
- Prevention of money laundering, financing of terrorism, and other illicit activities
