Moody's Analytics introduces Regulatory Reporter for securitizations

NEW YORK, September 16, 2016 - Moody’s Analytics today launched Regulatory Reporter, a web-based tool that helps issuers of auto loan and auto lease securitizations comply with new asset-level reporting regulations in the United States.  

“With the deadline for complying with the asset level information requirement of Reg AB II coming up in November this year, Regulatory Reporter is an essential tool  for issuers of securitizations,” said Brad McNamee, Senior Director, Moody’s Analytics. “The addition of Regulatory Reporter further enhances our full range of tools for professionals in the structured finance market.”

Regulatory Reporter generates a transaction report in the XML file format required by the Securities and Exchange Commission in support of the Asset Level Disclosure requirement for Auto Loans and Auto Lease, and automatically reconciles key fields between loan level and pool level data. In addition, the tool includes workflow capabilities for review, authorization and archiving to satisfy audit and compliance needs.  

Regulatory Reporter can be used as a stand-alone tool or in conjunction with Moody’s Analytics ABS System, the leading platform for issuers of structured finance transactions to model securitizations. ABS System is used by leading issuers globally, with over $500 billion of outstanding securities currently monitored, managed and reported via the platform. It is part of Moody’s Analytics’ comprehensive product suite for the structured finance market. 

The suite also includes the Structured Finance Portal, which offers advanced cash flow analytics, benchmarking, credit modeling, and an extensive loan-level database. Completing the suite is Moody’s CreditView, which offers access to ratings, research, data and analysis from Moody’s Investors Service, integrated with complementary data and analysis produced by Moody’s Analytics. Moody’s Analytics will be conducting demonstrations of its structured finance product suite at the IMN ABS Miami 2016 conference.
