EBA to Update on Progress of Prudential Regime for Investment Firms
EBA will hold a public hearing on July 03, 2017 to update all relevant stakeholders on the progress made, so far, on the possibility of developing a new prudential regime for Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) investment firms. EBA will present the preliminary results of its data collection and the calibration of the underlying methodology.
The public hearing follows up on the discussion paper published on November o4, 2016 and aims to gather additional feedback, which will be taken into account in finalizing EBA's response to the EC's call for advice. EBA expects to submit its final advice in the course of September 2017.
