Andres Carbacho-Burgos, Director, Head Housing Economist, Moody’s Analytics
Andres Carbacho-Burgos, PhD, is a Director and Head Housing Economist. Andres specializes in the U.S. and Canadian housing market, residential construction, and regional economies.
Before joining Moody's Analytics, he taught economics at Texas State University, where he also researched open-economy macroeconomics and income inequality. Born in Chile, he obtained his PhD and master's in economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his BA in economics from Carleton College.

Philip Bermingham, Director, Data & Analytics, RPS Real Property Solutions
Philip Bermingham is responsible for the development of analytics initiatives across RPS with a focus on real estate data products. Philip brings over 15 years of experience in effectively converting data into meaningful and powerful information.
Before joining RPS, Philip worked internationally where he initiated web-based geo-spatial business intelligence dashboards and portals to track the implementation of planning decisions. Previously, Philip also worked for Environics Analytics and the Centre for the Study of Commercial Activity at Ryerson University. He has a Master’s Degree in Spatial Analysis and a BA in Applied Geography from Ryerson University.

Brendan LaCerda, Associate Director and Senior Economist, Moody’s Analytics
Brendan LaCerda is an economist with Moody’s Analytics. His research is primarily focused on international macroeconomics, healthcare and fiscal policy. Brendan is the lead analyst for the Canadian economic forecast. His responsibilities also include the design and maintenance of the global forecast model.
Before joining Moody’s Analytics, Brendan worked as a senior economist with IHS Global Insight’s U.S. Macroeconomic Service. ,br /> Brendan received his PhD in economics from the University of Virginia. He pursued his undergraduate education at the London School of Economics and the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated with a BA in Economics and Mathematics.
