BaFin published a "leaflet" on external bail-in implementation in Germany. The leaflet describes the parties involved, their responsibilities, communication channels, and the process of external bail-in implementation. It is based on a baseline scenario, which will be expanded to include further complexity levels in the future. It is addressed to all institutions in the Federal Republic of Germany, for which the settlement strategy envisages the application of bail-in. BaFin consulted on the draft leaflet from April to June 2019.
