HKMA Updates Enhanced Competency Framework on Cybersecurity
HKMA updated the enhanced competency framework on cybersecurity (ECF-C) for the banking sector in Hong Kong. The framework sets out the competency standards for cybersecurity practitioners and has been updated by including the Associate Cybersecurity Professional designation of the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers as an additional option available to banking practitioners for meeting the Core Level of the ECF-C. With this, a new designation has been added to the list of recognized certificates of the ECF-C. The guide shows to the updates in blue. This latest version of the guide replaces the previous version from December 2016.
