ESMA Updates Q&A on Reporting to Trade Repositories Under EMIR
ESMA updated the questions and answers (Q&A) document on practical questions on the implementation of the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR or EU Regulation No 648/2012 on OTC derivatives, central counterparties, and trade repositories). The updated Q&A document includes new and updated answers related to reporting to trade repositories.
The purpose of the Q&A document is to promote common supervisory approaches and practices in the application of EMIR. The document provides responses to questions posed by the general public, market participants, and competent authorities in relation to the practical application of EMIR.
