Central Bank of Ireland Updates Notes on AnaCredit Data Returns
The Central Bank of Ireland has updated the compilation notes for AnaCredit data returns. The notes on compilation set out the statistical reporting requirements for credit institutions. Other updates include documents on AnaCredit reporting population and the bank’s position on reduced reporting, in reference to Annex II of the regulation.
The first reporting deadline for credit data (Phase 2) is October 19, 2018 (data referring to end-September) while the test window for reporting agents opens from July 31, 2018. All Irish resident credit institutions are subject to the reporting requirements laid out in the AnaCredit Regulation. The AnaCredit Project in Ireland is being implemented in three phases: Phase 1 is for counterparty data reporting, Phase 2 is for the remaining ECB AnaCredit templates, and Phase 3 is for national templates. The first reporting date for the national reporting templates will be with reference to end-March 2019. The reporting agents had commenced submitting counterparty information in January 2018.
