BaFin Publishes Supervisory Priorities for 2021 and FAQs on IFR
BaFin published its supervisory priorities for 2021, which include addressing the impact of the pandemic on supervised companies and financial markets, IT and cyber risks, and consumer protection issues. The focus of planned activities also includes business areas of banking, insurance, and securities supervision and resolution. BaFin also published the frequently asked questions related to Investment Firms Regulation (IFR), which will apply from June 26, 2021.
