SNB Updates Reporting Form for Short-Term Liquidity Coverage Ratio
SNB updated the reporting form for Liquidity Coverage Ratio (with Facilitation) for branches of foreign banks. Branches of foreign banks will use the form LCR_POF, in which significant currencies can be recorded in accordance with the FINMA Circular 2015/2. They will no longer have to fill in the form LCR_PO. The reporting deadline for form LCR_POF is June 30, 2018. The form, which is required on a monthly basis, must be submitted within 20 calendar days (15 calendar days for systemically important banks).
For reporting on a single entity basis, all banks as defined by the Banking Act of November 08, 1934, as well as branches of foreign banks, are required to report data. For reporting on a consolidated basis (financial groups or conglomerates), the proprietary companies of financial groups or of financial conglomerates, dominated by banks, which are subject to group and conglomerate supervision by FINMA, are required to report data.
