DNB Publishes Version 2.2 of AnaCredit Reporting Documentation

    June 10, 2021

DNB updated the documentation for AnaCredit reporting. The updated documents (under AnaCredit release version 2.2) include AnaCredit data delivery agreement for reporting agents, logical data model, logical data model report, release notes, data validation rules in logical data model, and the DNB AnaCredit business terms.

The AnaCredit data delivery agreement provides for the delivery of credit data, credit risk data, and information about counterparties for the purpose of AnaCredit regulation. Version 2.2 introduces the following key changes:

    • Netherlands is being explicitly noted as a reporting member state
    • Addition of the possibility to report the postal code as the location of immovable properties
    • Counterparty default status no longer allowed to be reported as “Non-applicable”
    • Textual adjustments to reflect that there are no reporting agents with a quarterly reporting obligation

AnaCredit is a project initiated and implemented by the European System of Central Banks (ESCB), in which credit institutions in the euro area report large amounts of granular data on their loan portfolios on a permanent and regular (in most cases monthly) basis. The data can be used for ESCB activities and supervisory purposes.
