CBIRC Issues XBRL Taxonomy for ALM Reporting by Insurance Companies
CBIRC issued notice on the issuance of XBRL taxonomy for the quarterly report on insurance asset and liability management (ALM) and the implementation of the insurance ALM regulatory information system module.
The notice states that to promote smooth implementation of the insurance ALM regulatory rules, the XBRL classification standard has been formulated for the quarterly report on insurance ALM (Annex 1). Insurance companies should submit the report on insurance assets and liabilities through the insurance ALM regulatory information system module, which was launched on June 15, 2018. Each company shall submit the quarterly report on ALM before June 30, 2018, in the first quarter of 2018. Beginning from the second quarter of 2018, companies should submit quarterly reports on ALM within 30 days of the end of each quarter.
