PRA Updates Release Note for BoE Banking Taxonomy Version 3.3.0
PRA updated the release note published with the BoE banking taxonomy version 3.3.0. This provides an updated file for those who use the rend.xml files in the taxonomy package for the production of XBRL instance files. Minor amendments have been made in relation to the Excel validations file. PRA had published version 3.3.0 of the banking XBRL taxonomy and related technical artefacts on November 28, 2020 to support the collection of Capital+ and ring-fencing reporting.
The taxonomy, release note, data point model (DPM) dictionary, annotated templates, and validation rules represent the requirements for policy statement (PS16/19) on regulatory reporting with respect to EBA Taxonomy 2.9. The taxonomy is aligned to the EBA Taxonomy 2.9 and, where there are minor discrepancies compared to the templates in the PRA Rulebook, PRA will consult on making the corresponding amendments to the PRA Rulebook templates at a later date.
