PRA Updates NST and Internal Model Templates for Solvency II Reporting
PRA updated the National Specific Templates (NSTs), internal model output templates, and LOG files to reflect the December 31, 2018 effective date for reporting under Solvency II. This follows publication of the policy statements PS21/18 and PS24/18 and the supervisory statement SS6/18 under Solvency II. PS21/18 addresses changes to reporting format under Solvency II, PS24/18 includes updates to internal model output reporting, and SS6/18 is related to NST LOG files.
The NSTs and LOG files as well as the internal model output templates and LOG files are available in the NSTs and Internal model outputs sections, respectively, on the regulatory reporting webpage for insurance sector. NSTs address the areas that stem from specific national requirements or specificities of local markets, which are otherwise not addressed in the set of Solvency II harmonized templates. Each Excel template has a corresponding LOG file, which includes definitions on how to complete the templates.
