BDE Publishes Technical Instructions for Reporting by Banks
BDE published technical instructions on rules for the presentation and telematic transmission of financial statements of credit institutions, according to the specified eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) standard and other financial documentation. BDE also published COREP taxonomy (COREP_2.8.1) and FINREP Taxonomy (FINREP_2.8) related to information on supervision of entities.
The technical instructions specify that the statements and financial documentation must be presented in accordance with the standards and technical specifications issued for this purpose, as established by the provisions of BDE. The reporting entities are responsible for the authenticity of declared data and must make the necessary corrections whenever necessary. In November 2017, BDE issued Circular 4/2017 to credit institutions on rules of public and reserved financial information and on models of financial statements.
