CFTC is requesting comments on the burdens associated with certain aspects of the Margin Requirements for Uncleared Swaps for Swap Dealers and Major Swap Participants (final rule). These aspects involve requesting a comparability determination from CFTC, maintaining policies and procedures for compliance with the CFTC special provisions for non-netting jurisdictions and non-segregation jurisdictions, and maintaining books and records by properly documenting that all of the requirements of the special provisions are satisfied. This is a request for an extension and revision of a currently approved information collection. Comments must be submitted on or before October 21, 2019.
