OJK proposed a regulation on the transparency and publication of Sharia commercial bank and sharia business unit reports, with the consultation period ending on April 30, 2020. As annexes to the circular presenting the proposal, OJK also released the guidelines for preparation of reports and reporting templates. The circular states that Sharia commercial banks compile, announce, and submit reports including financial performance report, report on risk and capital exposure, and reports on material information or facts. Provisions in the circular shall come into force on July 01, 2020.
