    DNB Releases Multiple Reporting Updates for Banks

    DNB updated a document titled "Required templates and filing indicators," which outlines reporting obligations for certain templates under the Capital Requirements Directive and Regulation. In the document, cells containing changes are marked with yellow, while specific changes are highlighted in red. DNB also issued a statement informing entities about the first reference dates of the COREP modules under the relevant framework of Data Point Model (DPM) 2.9. DNB also notified that, as of April 03, 2020, the Financial Market Infrastructure (FMI), Critical Functions Report (CFR), and Commission Implementing Regulation reporting obligations are available in Digital Reporting Portal or DLR. The reporting deadline is April 17, 2020. Additionally, DNB published its banking newsletter that contains an updated calendar for data requests from banks.

    The changes in the new version of "Required templates and filing indicators" cover the following modules:

    • FINREP (new templates of non performing loan, or NPL)
    • COREP OF (new templates on securitization)
    • LCR DA (new template on perimeter), ALMM, NSFR (clarification of scope of reporting obligations)
    • SBP (split of the module)

    First reference dates of the COREP modules is as follows:

    • The modules COREP OF, COREP LR, and COREP LE will start from reference period March 2020.
    • The modules COREP LCR DA and COREP ALMM (for monthly reporters) will start from reference period April 2020.
    • The modules COREP NSFR and COREP ALMM (for quarterly reporters) will start from reference period June 2020.
