ESMA updated the set of questions and answers (Q&A) on market structure issues under the Market in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II) and Regulation (MiFIR). The updated Q&A include new answers on tick-size regime; Direct Electronic Access; and multilateral systems.
The purpose of this document is to promote common supervisory approaches and practices in the application of MiFID II and MiFIR. The Q&A document provides responses to questions posed by the general public and market participants in relation to the practical application of market structure issues.
