ACPR Requests Applications for Tech Sprint, Issues Reporting Updates
The French Prudential Supervisory Authority (ACPR) requested applications for the 2022 Tech Sprint on Confidential Data Pooling (CDP). ACPR also issued an update on information meeting conducted for banking sector; the meeting was held in March 2022. In addition, ACPR issued a statement regarding the new format of the functional business cards related to reporting, along with a statement on changes to the OneGate portal.
Below are the key details of the recent updates:
- The ACPR Fintech-Innovation Hub is hosting the 2022 Tech Sprint. The challenge will pertain to collaborative analytics and sensitive data pooling. The challenge will be linked to the experimentation designed and coordinated by the ACPR aiming to assess the benefits from data pooling in anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML-CFT). Tech Sprint participants are invited to design and implement a proof of concept of their CDP solution, using fictitious data and a demo scenario provided by the ACPR. The results of their work shall be presented to the public on September 13, 2022. Deadline to send in the applications ended on June 03, 2022.
- The key topics discussed during the information meeting for banks include data quality statistics, switching to legal entity identifier (LEI), upcoming regulatory changes, taxonomy calendar, new prudential data collection application (known as DLPP), and changes to the OneGate design.
- Regarding the new format of the functional business cards related to reporting, the business cards will now be made available to in .HTML format instead of Excel format. This new format will be made available on the OneGate test portal during the week of May 02, 2022. The communication of business cards on the OneGate production portal is planned during the week of May 09, 2022.
