EU published, in the Official Journal of the European Union, a corrigendum to Regulation 2021/453 that sets out the implementing technical standards for reporting requirements for market risk, in line with the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR or 575/2013). The corrigendum adds Annex III to the Regulation 2021/453. Annex III provides provisions related to single data point model and validation rules. According to Part I of Annex III, all data items referred to in the Annexes I and II of Regulation 2021/453 shall be transformed into a single data point model, which is the basis for uniform IT systems of institutions and competent authorities. According to Part II of Annex III, the data items referred to in the Annexes I and II of Regulation 2021/453 shall be subject to validation rules ensuring data quality and consistency. Regulation 2021/453 shall enter into force on April 05, 2021.
