ESMA Updates Q&A on Implementation of the Benchmarks Regulation
ESMA updated its questions and answers (Q&A) document on the implementation of the Benchmarks Regulation. The update includes one new answer about requirements applicable to supervised contributors during the transitional period.
The Q&A document is intended to be a practical convergence tool for promoting common supervisory approaches and practices in application of the Benchmarks Regulation. It should also help investors and other market participants by providing clarity on the requirements. ESMA will periodically review these Q&A and update them as required.
