EBA Single Rulebook Q&A: First Update for June 2019
EBA published answers to 18 questions under the Single Rulebook question and answer (Q&A) updates for this week. The answers cover topics related to supervisory reporting and the second Payment Services Directive. The key addressed queries under supervisory reporting relate to validation rules under the EBA reporting framework (2.8), financial reporting (FINREP) templates, securitizations reporting, and Low Credit Risk Templates 4.4.1 and 4.3.1.
The overall objective of the Q&A tool is to ensure consistent and effective application of the new regulatory framework across the Single Market. Institutions, supervisors, and other stakeholders can use the Single Rulebook Q&A tool for submitting questions on Capital Requirements Directive IV (CRD IV), Capital Requirement Regulation (CRR), and the related technical standards that have been developed by EBA and adopted by EC.
