Bundesbank Updates Requirements for AnaCredit and SHS Reporting
Deutsche Bundesbank published multiple reporting updates, including Version 4.01 of additional checks by the European Central Bank (ECB). As part of the reporting under AnaCredit Regulation, the central bank of Germany also published a circular on adjustments in the feedback files for the contractual partner master data reports from mid-January 2022 and February 01, 2022; the circular also addresses adjustment of the description of certain validation rules for AnaCredit reporting. Additionally, Bundesbank published the FINREP checks, along with updating the plausibility checks for group data under the securities holdings statistics (SHS) reporting, with the changes highlighted in red. The included plausibility checks that are carried out immediately after the XML file has been submitted electronically via the Bundesbank ExtraNet. An error in one of the plausibility checks leads to rejection of the submitted report and the delivery of a corresponding error log.
