      1. Candidates are eligible for one computer-based examination.
      2. Candidates will not be permitted to register for an examination under any circumstances without receipt of payment for program fees, in full.
      3. Registration for any one level of the certification program is valid for 12 months. Candidates are required to pass the examination within this time.
      4. The examination re-sit fee is $300 and must be attempted within 12 months from the date of registration. If the third examination attempt is unsuccessful, Candidates will be required to re-register for the program.
      5. Candidates may apply for a three-month exam extension – the exam extension fee is $300.
      6. An examination no-show is marked as zero.
      7. Program fees are non-refundable.
      8. Candidates may be substituted on the basis that substitutions are subject to the same examination eligibility period and that any substitutions are made within three months of the original registration date.
      9. Candidates who fail the exams three times or cannot pass within the 12-month time limit, will be required to re-enroll for the program.

      Please note:

      • You must schedule your exam 5 working days in advance (Monday - Friday).
      • Exam must be cancelled no later than 5 working days ahead of the scheduled exam.
      • You have three opportunities to attempt your exam. If you fail after the third attempt, you will be required to re-enroll to your course.
      • You must attempt your exam within your eligibility period, a fee of $300 will apply to extend your eligibility.
      • If you fail to show for your exam, you will be charged a $300 re-sit fee to reschedule your exam.
      • You must start the process of accessing your exam 30 minutes ahead of the start time. Exams are automatically cancelled if more than 30 minutes late (additional time is not given to for late arrivals).
      • The connect to supervisor button will become available only 15 minutes ahead of your exam start time.
      • You must contact the TestReach support team no later than 30 minutes after your exam time to resolve any issues. Failure to do so will result in a cancelled exam.
      • TestReach customer support team will spend a maximum of 15 minutes to help resolve issues local to your device.
      • Signed valid Photo ID must be presented (eg: passport, driving license or national identity card only).
      • Headphones will be required if you are sitting your exam among others.
      • You must remain in the webcam viewing area at all times and must not block the webcam for any reason.
      • You may appeal your exam result if you believe that Moody’s has not upheld its assessment procedure. This means that your appeal will review the process that was followed in determining your exam grade.

      *Note: Applicable only for candidates that have not utilized 3 exam attempts and are still within their eligibility period. All candidates who have written 3 attempts must re-register in the program.

    • Multiple choice responses are machine-marked. Your overall score or score per module for multiple choice responses cannot be appealed.

      You may appeal your exam result if you believe that Moody’s has not upheld its assessment procedure. This means that your appeal will review the process that was followed in determining your exam grade.

    • Appeals must be made in writing to the Head of Qualifications, no later than 10 working days after the relevant examination sitting.

      The appeal must include:

      • the name, candidate number if applicable, address and contact details of the individual or organization submitting the appeal;
      • full details of the decision being appealed;
      • the reasons for the appeal;
      • any relevant supporting documentation;
      • the fee for the appeals is $50 USD and this will be refunded if your appeal is upheld.
