Mark Almeida has been President of Moody’s Analytics since January 2008. Prior to this position, Mr. Almeida was Senior Managing Director of the Investor Services Group (ISG) at Moody’s Investors Service, where he was responsible for sales and development of Moody’s portfolio of research products and services. Mr. Almeida joined the Corporate Finance division of Moody’s Investors Service in 1988. Based in London in the early 1990s, he organized a marketing team to position Moody’s for the business opportunities anticipated from the development of the European debt capital markets. Mr. Almedia was named Group Managing Director, Investor Services in 2000, and was promoted to Senior Managing Director in 2004. Prior to joining Moody’s, Mr. Almeida worked in marketing and regional economics for Chase Econometrics, a consulting subsidiary of The Chase Manhattan Bank. He holds a B.A. from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and an M.B.A. from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
Geoff Fite is Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Moody’s Analytics. Mr. Fite joined Moody’s in 2005 as Chief Technology Officer of Moody’s KMV. Before joining Moody’s, Mr. Fite was Head of Technology and VP of Institutional Investment Consulting at Morningstar Associates (a business unit of Morningstar Inc.), Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technology Officer of mPower Advisors, a Principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Chief Technology Officer of Cogent. Mr. Fite holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at San Diego and a Master’s degree from Columbia University.
Paul Getman is Executive Director of Moody’s Analytics and oversees the company’s business affairs and strategic planning. With more than 20 years of experience in consulting and research on economic issues, Mr. Getman has testified before government agencies and regularly gives speeches on the U.S. outlook for industry and trade groups, nonprofit organizations, and senior corporate management. Mr. Getman has an M.A. in economics and has completed all but the dissertation requirements of a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
Gus Harris is Executive Director of Moody’s Analytics and oversees the Structured Analytics & Valuation division. He joined Moody’s in 1995 as part of the Managed Funds team before transferring to the Derivatives Group in 1997. As an analyst in the Derivatives Group, he focused primarily on rating arbitrage cash flow and market value corporate CDOs. Mr. Harris was a Managing Director in the Derivatives Group from 1999 through 2006. In 2006, Gus helped establish the predecessor group to the Structured Analytics and Valuations division, which he now manages. Prior to joining Moody’s, Mr. Harris had spent seven years at Price Waterhouse where he was an Audit Manager specializing in mutual funds, hedge funds and other pooled vehicles, including pension funds. He performed and managed several audits of hedge funds, including fund of funds. Mr. Harris has a B.S. in Economics and Accounting from New York University, an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University and an M.S. in Statistics from New York University. He also holds CFA and CPA designations.
Ari Lehavi is Executive Director and Global Head of the Professional Services division at Moody's Analytics. Ari joined Moody's in 2001as a Vice President of Product Strategy. In 2006, he became Managing Director and Head of Marketing. Shortly thereafter, he took responsibility for Professional Services. Prior to joining Moody’s, Mr. Lehavi spent several years as a strategy consultant with Marakon Associates, where he helped companies define and execute strategies to drive profitable growth. Before consulting, he worked as an investment banker, focusing on financial services and technology. Mr. Lehavi received an M.B.A. in finance from the University of Chicago, and a joint M.A./B.A. degree in Economics, with honors, from Stanford University.
Margaret Rienecker is Chief Administrative Officer for Moody’s Analytics. Ms. Rienecker is responsible for development of financial budgets, forecasts and strategic plans; sales reporting and administration of commission plans; and providing analysis and information to senior management of Moody’s Analytics and Moody’s Corporation. Ms. Rienecker joined Moody’s in 1995 as Director of Cash Flow and has held several positions of increasing responsibility within the Finance organization. In 2001, Ms. Rienecker was appointed Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis for Moody’s Corporation. From 2004 to 2006, she was Group Managing Director in charge of Information Technology. Prior to joining Moody’s, Ms. Rienecker was a financial analyst with The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. Ms. Rienecker started her career with General Electric and is a graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program. Ms. Rienecker holds an M.B.A. from New York University and a B.S. in Finance from Boston College.
Dan Russell has been Executive Director of Moody’s Analytics since November 2007. In this role, he is responsible for marketing the research produced by Moody’s Investor Services and managing Moody’s Analytics proprietary market based credit metrics. In addition, Mr. Russell oversees all facets of Moodys.com. Prior to his current position, Mr. Russell was a Managing Director of the Investor Services Group at Moody’s Investor Services where he was responsible for a portfolio of new business initiatives. Mr. Russell joined Moody’s in October 1992. Before joining Moody’s, Mr. Russell worked at Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank) in a number of business development roles for three years. He began his career at Fireman’s Fund Insurance as an actuary. Mr. Russell holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
Stephen Tulenko serves as the Global Head of Sales, Customer Service and Corporate Marketing for Moody’s Analytics. Mr. Tulenko has been an Executive Director of Moody’s Analytics since January 2008. Prior to his appointment in Moody’s Analytics, Mr. Tulenko worked as Group Managing Director, Global Head of Sales for the Investor Services Group within Moody’s Investors Service, a unit dedicated to providing credit research and risk management tools to buy-side and sell-side institutions. A Managing Director in the organization since 1998, Mr. Tulenko has also managed marketing and product development teams within Moody’s. Mr. Tulenko joined Moody’s in 1990. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. in Finance, Marketing and International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
